Jack Faust, a 101-year-old Navy veteran, will compete in the Department of Veterans Affairs’ National Veterans Golden Age Games for the sixth time starting in late May. He’s already taken home nine gold medals and two silvers in the past five.

Enterprising major’s lawn game is on a roll
Air Force major Matt Butler conjured up his successful lawn game, which is a hybrid of horseshoes and bocce, during his downtime flying missions over Iraq and Afghanistan. His next goal is to build a website where he can share his entrepreneurial experience with others.
